Blind dates, most people cringe at the idea. They seldom ever lead to anything, right? That's how Elizabeth felt when her new boss of all people set her up with Jonathan. Sometimes fate intervenes and lucky for them it did. As it turns out this blind date lead to many more dates. Which ultimately lead to a beautiful morning wedding in the garden at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed & Breakfast. I knew after meeting with Elizabeth for our first consultation that she would be a striking bride on her wedding day. She did not disappoint. I can not say enough about how much I love my brides. Elizabeth's sense of style is so very in line with my own. I love it when brides understand the importance of simplicity. People often underestimate the impact of simplicity. Her hairstyle, dress and choice of bouquet really speak of a style that is full of grace, elegance and a timeless beauty. I honestly would shoot this style wedding everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
Elizabeth first mention that she has always wanted a morning wedding. After running the numbers we decided that we would have to begin shooting at 7:30 in the morning. That's a.m. people. I am so not a morning person, but summer in South Alabama is HOT! I am so grateful for her decision to shoot early. It worked so perfectly and after I downed my White Mocha Latte from Sugar Rush I was awake and running on all cylinders.
Elizabeth and Jonathan, thank you so much allowing me to photograph your wedding! It was a breath of fresh early morning air!!
